Water Entry & Mold Concerns
Suspected mold growth.
A physical sample of the growth can be taken and sent to a lab for analysis.
Standing water in crawl space.
Wet crawl spaces risk building damage from decay and wood destroying insects and can lead to the development of fungal (mold) growth. In addition, excess water around a foundation increases the potential for vertical and horizontal frost heave during the winter months and differential settlement to occur.
Active Water Seepage
A moisture meter is used when signs of water entry or staining are observed to determine if active moisture is present.
